What do you feel when you see a person wearing Bermuda shorts at a formal

wedding? Weird, right?

Why? You've never seen a person wearing Bermudas? Of course, lots.

So, why is it strange at a formal wedding? Quite simply, it doesn't go with the style of the occasion.

At a beach wedding, it might not look  strange - it doesn't demand a Men in Black look! The same goes for writing. All writing demands an appropriate style, to be effective. If it's wrong, it loses its essence and importance.

The four main types of writing: expository, persuasive, descriptive and narrative.

  1. Expository writing
  2. Persuasive writing
  3. Descriptive writing
  4. Narrative writing
